The Honest Guide: What to Expect
- Long Walkways: The property is sprawling. Rooms located in the outer wings, such as the Burapahar wing, can require a 3 to 5-minute walk along open pathways to reach the lobby and main dining area. This can be inconvenient during monsoon rains or summer heat. If you have mobility limitations, request a room near the main building when booking.
- Jungle Bandwidth: While complimentary Wi-Fi is provided, the remote forested location limits speed. Connection drops are common, and speeds are best suited for messaging rather than video conferencing or high-definition streaming.
- Power Transitions: Power outages are frequent in this region. The resort utilizes heavy backup generators. When a blackout occurs, there is a 15 to 20-second lag before generator power kicks in. During peak summer loads, high-draw appliances like air conditioners or geysers may take additional time to restart.

- Cancellation Policy Free cancellation up to 14 days before check-in. Cancellations within 7–14 days incur a 25% charge. Cancellations within 7 days incur a 75% charge. No-shows are charged the full amount.
- Child & Extra Bed Policy Children below 6 years stay free with existing bedding. Children aged 6–12 years are charged 60% of the adult rate with an extra bed. Children above 12 years are charged as adults.
- Pet Policy Small pets are allowed on request. A refundable security deposit of ₹5,000 is required. Pets must be leashed in common areas.
