Direct messages via WhatsApp or email are focused primarily on your itinerary and trip support. We may occasionally share curated seasonal travel updates (such as festival dates or safari opening announcements), but never spam—and you can opt out anytime by replying "STOP" or clicking unsubscribe.
Stage 3 · Protected Travel
When you confirm a booking & apply for permits
Handling mandatory identification required for protected areas and forest reserves.
Traveling across Northeast India involves border checkpoints, national parks, and protected tribal zones governed by state and forest authorities.
What we collect:
- Government Identification: Aadhaar card, Voter ID, or Passport (for Indian nationals); Passport and Visa (for international travelers).
- Photographs: Passport-style digital photos as mandated by state permit portals.
- Billing Information: Name, address, and GSTIN (if applicable) for issuing official tax invoices.
Why official identification is legally required:
- Inner Line Permits (ILP): Mandatory for entering Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Mizoram, and Manipur.
- Protected Area Permits (PAP): Required by the Ministry of Home Affairs for foreign nationals in restricted areas.
- Forest Department Safari Passes: Mandatory government registration for elephant and jeep safaris in Kaziranga, Manas, Nameri National Parks & Tiger Reserves and other wildlife sanctuaries.
- Stay & Hotel Check-in Compliance: Mandatory guest registration under local administration regulations.

Stage 4 · On-Trip Logistics
While you are on the road
Coordinating ground transfers, permit checkpoints, and safety.
During your journey, our operations desk in Kaziranga works in real time to coordinate safari shifts, vehicle handoffs, and accommodation check-ins.
Information shared on the ground:
- Your name and primary phone number are shared with your assigned driver and licensed local guide for daily meeting points and pickup coordination.
- Emergency contacts provided by you are kept on standby by our desk in case of mountain weather delays or route changes.
Our drivers and local guides are trained professionals who operate under strict confidentiality agreements regarding guest details.
Stage 5 · Post-Trip & Retention
After your journey & data retention
How long records are kept and how photos are handled.
Guest Photos & Stories:
We love celebrating memorable moments from Northeast India, but we will never publish photographs of you or your family on our website or social channels without your explicit consent.
Retention Schedule:
- Permit & ID Proofs: Securely purged or moved to offline encrypted storage once travel and forest department reporting cycles are completed.
- Invoices & Financial Records: Retained for the statutory duration required by Indian taxation and GST compliance laws.
