Arrive in Kohima from Dimapur along NH29. Check into your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the historic Kohima War Cemetery on Garrison Hill and read the famous Kohima Epitaph at the 2nd Division Memorial. Ascend Aradurah Hill to explore the Mary Help of Christians Cathedral with its 16-foot carved wooden crucifix and sweeping town panorama. Morning walking tour through Kohima Village (Bara Basti), visiting the carved wooden clan gates (Kharu) of Tsütuonuomia and Lhisemia Khels, the village Morung, and ancient stone assembly platforms.
