Namdapha Wildlife Explorer (4 Days)
4 Days, 3 NightsDibrugarh to Deban
Depart Dibrugarh early. Drive via Tinsukia and Margherita to Miao (4 hours). Complete forest entry formalities at the Forest Office. Continue 26 km to Deban Forest Camp. Settle into the forest rest house. Evening introductory walk along the Noa-Dihing River.
Hornbill Trail Trek
Full-day trek on the Hornbill Trail through lowland rainforest (5-6 hours). Spot great hornbills, rufous-necked hornbills, hoolock gibbons, and capped langurs. Packed lunch by the river. Return to Deban by late afternoon. Night safari (optional).
Rhododendron Trek and River Walk
Early morning trek on the Rhododendron Trail (March-April for blooms) or a higher-altitude trail for panoramic views. Afternoon at leisure — birding near the camp or a refresher swim in the Noa-Dihing. Evening wildlife documentary screening at the camp.
Deban to Dibrugarh
Morning bird walk around Deban. Visit Miao Museum (Singpho and Tangsa artifacts). Drive back to Dibrugarh for departure.
