Nyethidow (Nyethrii-Dow) Festival

The primary socio-religious festival of the indigenous Aka (Hrusso) community. Traditional priests (Mugou) perform ancestral chants and sacrificial rituals praying for bumper harvests, community health, and protection from natural calamities. Sarok Festival

Nyokum Yullo

Celebrated by the Nyishi community of the Kameng region, Nyokum invokes the goddess of agriculture, Nyokum, through sacred chants, bamboo pole installations, folk dances, and traditional rice brew offerings to ensure abundant grain yields and community protection.
Tipi Orchid Flowering Season

An annual botanical spectacle at Tipi Orchid Research Centre when over 500 species of native orchids burst into flower, attracting botanists, macro photographers, and nature enthusiasts from across India.
