Bhalukpong is accessed via the Balipara–Chariduar–Tawang (BCT) road on National Highway 13 (NH13). The drive from Guwahati (220 km) follows the 4-lane NH27 expressway across the Brahmaputra via Kaliabhumur Bridge to Tezpur/Balipara, before entering the smooth two-lane highway to Bhalukpong. Uphill transit to Bomdila (97 km / 3.5 hours) and Tawang (275 km / 8–10 hours) is seamless via the 500-meter all-weather Nechiphu Tunnel.
